ENVIRONMENTAL
NOISE BARRIER ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED INTO THE FCA
At an
Extraordinary General Meeting held on Tuesday 2 December
2003 at Westwood Training & Conference Centre
Coventry
the following resolution was passed:
To incorporate
the Environmental Noise Barrier Association into the
Fencing Contractors Association
“We are about to see in the coming months
an expansion of the ENBA membership representing,
more widely, noise barrier installers as well as product
manufacturers and suppliers. This is an essential
move in order to provide a more balanced perspective
on the future of the noise barrier industry
Clearly, we shall be
able to benefit from the considerable administrative
resources available within the FCA.
ENBA is an association
set to grow in number and stature and will now be
able to reflect better the aspirations and objectives
of a truly pan-industry orginisation, investing in
it the qualities of integrity and assurance.”
Quote from ENBA
Chairman Bryan Fitzgerald’s address to members
following the incorporation.
Ian Frost the FCA Chairman
commented, “The Fencing Contractors Association
is proud to acknowledge that an established and well
respected organisation like ENBA feel that incorporation
into the FCA can give them the platform they need
for future expansion. It is yet further proof that
the FCA is seen by major institutions as the voice
of the fencing industry, and one that has the backing
of, and gives full support to, its membership.”
