Assessor First for Agrid Fencing

Andy Leigh Director of Agrid on the Wirral was the first person to complete his A1 Assessors qualification in a National Training Pilot run by Rodbaston College in partnership with the Fencing Contractors Association and Sector Skills Council LANTRA.

Andy is shown 2nd from right being congratulated upon completion of his award by Principal of Rodbaston College Dr Ralph Alcock, Assessor Training Manager Judith Mills and Fencing Manager Derek Crawley of Rodbaston College.

At the presentation evening held recently at the College, Ralph Alcock paid tribute to the commitment and dedication given by Andy to completing his qualification in a timely manner and to a high standard.

The National Assessor Training Pilot run at the College is part sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council and includes the training of 50 work placed assessors of NVQ’s for the Industry.

Rodbaston College is currently working with the Fencing Contractors Association and Lantra to establish a National Training Centre of Excellence for Commercial and Industrial Fence Installation.
